În topul artiştilor care au primit cele mai multe nominalizări urmează Eminem şi Iggy Azalea care vor concura fiecare la şapte categorii. Rapperul Eminem va concura printre altele la categorii precum ‘cel mai bun cântăreţ hip-hop’, ‘cel mai bun cântăreţ’ şi ‘cea mai bună colaborare’, în timp ce Iggy Azalea se află în cursă pentru câteva trofee majore, inclusiv ‘videoclipul anului’, ‘cea mai bună cântăreaţă’ şi ‘cea mai bună piesă pop’.
Pharrell Williams are la rândul lui multe motive de bucurie, întrucât piesa lui ‘Happy’ a primit mai multe nominalizări, inclusiv la categoria ‘videoclipul anului’.
